FPI

At Quoin Wealth we have always taken the pro-active approach when it comes to regulatory changes or education requirements. Each of the financial planners at Quoin Wealth holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation, CFP®, and are continually updating our skills offering and practise management – in line with those changes taking place on an international level.

Considering our commitment to providing clients with a professional financial planning offering, we are happy to announce that we have been approved as a Professional Practice™ by the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa – FPI. This approval recognises our commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, as well as our dedication to furthering the professional level of financial planners in South Africa.

What is the FPI?

What is the FPI?

The FPI is the leading independent professional body for financial planners in South Africa. Through their global partnership with FPSB, along with other over 20 other countries, they are the only institution in Southern Africa able to offer the CFP® certification.

The Professional Practice certification is a new undertaking by the FPI to raise financial planning standards, and has resulted from the recognition by the institute that consumers seeking financial planning services from professional practices desired greater levels of professional continuity in the management of their planning requirements.

By allowing qualifying practices to obtain professional financial planning accreditation, clients are guaranteed a continued high standard of professionalism and expertise, regardless of the financial planner they deal with in the practice, or in the event of a financial planner leaving a business.

Financial planning practices in which at least 75% of the financial planner or advisory staff hold the CERTIFIRD FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation, or will be certified within three years, are eligible for the new FPI Approved Professional Practice certification.
